
Jempson’s have been baking bread and making delectable cakes and pastries for 75 years. We started as a village bakery and our in-store bakery combines that experience and tradition with state of the art technology, standards of hygiene and the finest ingredients.
Everything we sell is baked daily in full view of our customers except the wrapped long life bread.
In 2003 we introduced a series of bakery tours led by Arthur, our award winning Master Baker. Over 1,000 customers and holiday visitors have enjoyed these tours followed by Sussex cream teas in our restaurant.
We have also started a Bakery School offering one day introductory courses.
Whatever else you do when you visit our superstore, do include the bakery.
