Paul and Al Pippard planted 10,000 vines on the gentle South East facing slopes of the High Weald, near Heathfield in 2015, following their dream of building a rural family business focused on producing outstanding quality still and sparkling wines.
Located in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural beauty, the vineyard has stunning views over to the sea at Eastbourne and the South Downs and welcomes visitors for tours, tastings and picnics. The first harvest at Beacon Down in 2017 produced a number of award-winning wines and the vineyard has been going from strength to strength ever since.
