Shepherd Neame

Shepherd Neame is Britain’s oldest brewer and can trace its origins back over 300 years. The fifth-generation family brewery is in the heart of hop country, in the medieval market town of Faversham, Kent. Its ales combine Kentish hops with the finest malted barley and chalk filtered mineral water from an artesian well deep beneath the brewery.

With a Royal Warrant to its name, Shepherd Neame produces renowned classic, like Spitfire and Bishops Finger, as well as the Classic Collection, a range based on recipes decoded from the brewers’ archive.

Head brewer Richard Frost and his team continue the traditions handed down through centuries of Master Brewers, they work around the clock, ensuring quality is paramount, and gather first thing every morning to taste every batch of beer produced… it’s a tough job but someone’s got to do it!
